She was predeceased by: her husband John; and her son Rick. She is survived by: her sister Mabel Hamling (Mike) of Granger; her sister-in-law Jeanie Michaelson of Guthrie Center; her daughter Peggy Byrd (John); her daughter-in-law Roberta Gilson of Guthrie Center; her grandchildren, Penny Schramm (Kory) of Johnston, Travis Gilson (Karla) of Grimes and Tara Reed of Guthrie Center; and her stepgrandchildren, Lee Byrd (Ali) of Ankeny and John Byrd (Kim) of Bloomfield. She is also survived by 14 great grand children and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Because of her love of children and helping those in need, Lillien requested that memorials be directed toward St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
