It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Lee Brooks (Guthrie Center, Iowa), born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on December 11, 2025, at the age of 29, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Thomas may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Thomas touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Brooks; and his grandfather Danny Brooks. He is survived by: his grandmother Debra Wilson; his siblings, Angela McMichael (Brooks), Tyler Brooks, John Sherwood, Danny Sherwood, Zach Mobley and Mary Elizabeth Trent; his son Oliver Palmersheim; and his pet Cardi. He is also survived by his family, friends.
