He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Hanna and Ida Hanna (Holland); and his brothers, Kenneth, Arvid and Leonard.
He is survived by: his wife Gayle Sager; his daughter Vicki Rodenberg (Brian) of Guttenberg; his grandsons, Dennis Rodenberg (Elise) of Mount Vernon and Isaac Rodenberg (Kristin) of Urbandale, Iowa; and his great grandchildren, Marlena, Rosie, Liesl, Willow and Fritz Rodenberg. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 9:30 AM. A masonic service will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Morris Funeral Home - Guttenberg (207 S 1st St, Guttenberg, IA 52052). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (203 Pearl St, Guttenberg, IA 52052).
