He is survived by: his brother Richard Schieltz (Diane) of Luxemburg; his nephew Jason Schieltz (Tammy); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Claire and Grant of Luxemburg; his nephew Cory Schieltz (Lesley); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Chloe and Ellie of Marion; his niece Kari Nickol (Matt); his great-nephew Gavin; and his great-niece Marcela of Dyersville.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Fred's honor.
