Jerald L. Burco Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 28, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Jerald L. Burco in Guttenberg, Iowa. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Iola Mae Burco; his grandparents, Elmer and Clara Graf; his sisters, Janet Woods and Judy Prindle; and his nephews, Chad Woods and Marty Woods.

He is survived by: his wife Sonia Seastrand; his children, Carmen Dreyer (Scott) of Elkader, Darin Burco (Nicole) of Independence, Matt Seastrand (Shana), Michele Gaudreault (Juan) and Bobby Seastrand; his grandchildren, Cody Dreyer (Chelsea), Megan Larson (Jake), Jordyn Burco (Blake Smith), Alex Seastrand (Kelsey), Dustin Burco (Caitlyn), Alexis Rice (Nathan), Jaylen Gaudreault, Landon Gaudreault (Jenna), Adam Seastrand and Jocey Seastrand; and his brother Gaylen Burco of Oelwein. He is also survived by 9 Great Grandchildren, 3 brothers-in-law & 5 sisters-in-law.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Transco Events On Frederick (137 S Frederick Ave, Oelwein, IA 50662).

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to his family for later designation.
