He was predeceased by: his mother Iola Mae Burco; his grandparents, Elmer and Clara Graf; his sisters, Janet Woods and Judy Prindle; and his nephews, Chad Woods and Marty Woods.

He is survived by: his wife Sonia Seastrand; his children, Carmen Dreyer (Scott) of Elkader, Darin Burco (Nicole) of Independence, Matt Seastrand (Shana), Michele Gaudreault (Juan) and Bobby Seastrand; his grandchildren, Cody Dreyer (Chelsea), Megan Larson (Jake), Jordyn Burco (Blake), Alex Seastrand (Kelsey), Dustin Burco (Katlyn), Alexis Rice (Nathan), Jaylen Gaudreault, Landon Gaudreault (Jenna), Adam Seastrand and Jocey Seastrand; and his brother Gaylen Burco of Oelwein. He is also survived by 9 Great Grandchildren, 3 brothers-in-law & 5 sisters-in-law.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to his family for later designation.
