We announce the death of Lois H. Davis of Guttenberg, Iowa, who passed away on July 6, 2026, at the age of 93. Lois will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her mother Irene Elsinger (Miller); her husband Pete; her father Andrew Sr. Elsinger; her brother Cyrenus (Bud); her sister-in-law Bern; her brother Cyril; her sister-in-law Carol; her brothers, Andrew Jr. and Frank; her sister-in-law Jane; her sister Verna; and her brothers-in-law, Andy Haman and Bill Saunders.
She is survived by: her children, Jackie (Wayne), Bernie (Larkin), Barb (Gary), Ken (Kim), Andy (Diane), Rich (Sheila), Theresa (Jody) and Frank (Julie); and her siblings, Thomas Elsinger and Joan Saunders. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for trees to be planted in memory of Lois.
