He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth M. Newbern and Edna C. Newbern (Glawe); his brothers, Dean Newbern (Doretta) and Donald Newbern (Arma Jean); his parents-in-law, Serenus and Jean Junk; his brothers-in-law, James Junk and Robert Junk (Mary); his niece Kenlyn Boelter; and his nephew Kevin Newbern.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Junk. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church or Catholic Daughters Association.
