He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Jones and Hazel Jones; his former wife Joyce D. Kitchen; his siblings, Carol Miksch, Richard Jones, Sharon Ewing and Mike Jones; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Turner and Carol Morarend.

He is survived by: his wife Pat Jones of Guttenberg; his children, Randy Jones (Darcy) of Woodbury, Minnesota and Amy Lewis (Scott) of Shawnee, Kansas; his stepdaughter Kecia Lau of Las Vegas, Nevada.; and his grandchildren, Drew, Adam, Amelia, Brooke, Alex and Zachary. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
