Leick; her son Gerald; her children-in-law, Joan Leick and Scot Heery; her siblings, Vickie Meyers, Grace Kann, Leora Bonert, Joseph and Robert Meyers; her siblings-in-law, Dorothy Ellerbach, Lucille Stoffel, Irma Schrobilgen, Marina Hess, Florence Kennicker, Rosemary Tharp, Linda Meyers, Ernest Ellerbach, Irvin Stoffel, Melvin Schrobilgen, Jack Hess, Leonard Leick, Richard Tharp, Clarence Kennicker, Herb Kann, Henry Mueller and Anthony Katauskas; her niece Lisa Schwarte; and her nephews, Edwin Ellerbach and Steve Kennicker.
She is survived by: her children, Merlin F. Leick (Deborah) of Peosta, James Leick (Paula) of Durango, Cheryl Heery of Iowa City, Ronald Leick (Peggy) of Dyersville, Robert Leick (Connie) of Dyersville and Jean Kemp (David) of Dyersville; her grandchildren, Steven Leick (Marie), Sarah Fitzsimmons (A. J.), Michelle Vetsch (Jared), Katie Davick (Jon), Rachel Goetzinger (Charlie), Ryan Leick (Riley), Courtney Leick (Michael Turner), Samantha Olson (Cody), Tyler Leick (Anna McLaughlin), Tiffany Springer (Tyler), Marissa Kemp (Dillon Hiatt) and Nicole Kemp; her sisters, Rosemary Mueller and Romana Katauskas; and her siblings-in-law, Betty Leick, Arnold Leick and Robert Bonert. She is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church (103 S Andres St, Luxemburg, IA 52056). A Mass was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Holy Trinity Cemetery.
