She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Harbaugh and Bertha Harbaugh (Staebler); her husband Merlin Nickolas Bird; her daughter Julie K. Johnson (Bird); her son-in-law Dave Pisney; and her siblings, Charles, Sheila Harbaugh and Marguerite Rentschler.
She is survived by: her children, Pat Pisney of Atkins, IA, Joyce Wilson (Ken) of Ridgecrest, CA and Mary Barnes (Dale) of Hartley, IA. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
