We are sad to announce that on October 17, 2025, at the age of 81, William C. Osterhaus of Guttenberg, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact William had on those he encountered along his journey. Though William may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence "Clay" Osterhaus and Irene Osterhaus (Demmer); his brothers, Gene and Larry; and his sister-in-law Bonnie Osterhaus.
He is survived by: his niece Jenny Nadermann; his siblings, Joan Kramer (Dave) of Dyersville, Tom (Rosie) of Carmel, IN, Ron of Wheat Ridge, CO and Jim (Sue) of Guttenberg, IA; and his sister-in-law Penny Osterhaus.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kramer Funeral Home (750 12th Ave SW, Dyersville, IA 52040). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
