She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Berger and Catherine Berger (Hoffman); her husband Carl Schenkelberg; and her siblings, Norma Henkenius, Delores Herbers and Arnold Berger.
She is survived by: her sisters, Bernadine Heinrichs of Carroll and Mary Jane Berger of Carroll; and her siblings-in-law, Jerome Henkenius and Mary Jane Goecke of Omaha. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
