She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Simpson and Gladys Simpson (Prall); her husband Walton Everett Fritz; her son-in-law Rick Dirks; and her siblings, Rosemary Spiegel, Chalmers "Bud" Simpson, Kay "Tator" Simpson, Betty Compton, Wayne Simpson and William "Bill" Simpson.

She is survived by: her children, Debra Heard (Bill) of Evansville, IN, Denise Dreiling (Duane) of Hutchinson, KS and David Hendrickson of Carter Lake, IA; her grandchildren, Daniel Heard (Aixa), Jennifer Barrett (Brian), Chuck Dirks (Kacie), Ashley Smith (Lee), Andy Dirks (Megan), Heather Bellows (Matt), Hayley Scobee (Brett) and Hunter Walker (Matt); her great grandchildren, Avie, Andy, Isaac, Brooklyn, Rick, Jaci (Nathan), Taylee (Mason), Bo, Rock, Shad of Flint, LJ, Deacon, Madison, Palmer, Jack, Calley, Houston, Memphis, Harmony and Remington; her great great grandchild Hezekiah; her siblings, Ruth Ward of Riverton, IA, Mack Simpson (Bonnie) of Lincoln, NE, Judith Winkler of Mesa, AZ and Kathleen Stutheit of Nebraska City, NE; and her sisters-in-law, Jean Simpson and Gina Simpson. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
