He was predeceased by: his parents, Ishmael Woods and Nellie Woods; his wife Donna Elliott; his siblings, Nellie, Mae, Nadine, Laura and Jim; and his grandson Lee.

He is survived by: his children, Vonna (Mark Watson), James (Brandi Woods) and Ronda (David Means); his grandchildren, Jacob, Abigail, Samantha, Skyla of Hayle, KC, Jessi, Jared, Brittny, Bessi, Toni, Kyndra and Heather; his sisters, Sharon Hemstead and Lorretta Ware (Milo); and his brother-in-law Ronnie Elliott (Judy).

Memorials can be directed to the Hamburg Food Pantry.
