It is with sadness that the passing of John Paul Cowden (Hamburg, Iowa) is shared. John, born on September 7, 1958, passed away on October 13, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Conrad and Sharon Kaye Cowden (Powers); his son Joshua Cowden; and his brother Terry Cowden. He is survived by: his wife April Cowden of Hamburg, IA; his daughters, Tiffany Herron (Alan) of Rock Port, MO, Natalie Cowden of Nebraska City, NE and Summer; and his grandchildren, Zoey, Piper, Blake, Presley, Averly and Stevie.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rash-Gude Funeral Home (1220 Main St, Hamburg, IA 51640). A graveside service was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Mt. Olive Cemetery (315 Ave, Iowa 51640).
