She was predeceased by : her mother Doris Pierson (Bennett); her siblings, Linda Kay Pierson, Lynn Ray Pierson, Judy Bennett, Carl "Butch" Pierson and Jean Poirier (Pierson); her father Carl Irwin Pierson; and her former life partner Dale Hendrickson.
She is survived by : her niece Sue; her husband Charlie Winkler of Hamburg; her siblings, Terry Pierson of Hamburg and Janice Martin (Pierson) of Auburn, NE; and her sister-in-law Janeth Winkler of Henderson, NV. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hearts United for Animals in Auburn, NE.
