She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Schaap and Margery Schaap (Harken); her husband Dale; her siblings, Norma Johnson, Carol Schaap, Arnold Schaap and Edgar Schaap; and her siblings-in-law, Alberta Schaap, Rose Schaap, Doris Schaap, Mary Ann Schaap, Alvin Johnson and Herman Freese.

She is survived by: her friend Dale Maifeld; her children, Kemalyn Green (Ed), Kristel Curoe (Dennis) and Mitchell Maifeld (Amy); her grandchildren, James Green (Carly), Emily Scharf (Anthony Robb), Brad Curoe (Sheryl Patricelli), Joel Curoe, Ted Curoe and Wilson Maifeld; her great grandchildren, Gracelyn, Eliana, William, Benjamin Green, Emery, Camille Robb and Hudson Scharf; and her siblings-in-law, Ronald Maifeld (Judy), Margery Freese and Janice O'Donnell (Patrick). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
