He is survived by: his wife Edna Wright; his siblings, Joyce Ellis (Wright) and David Wright; his daughter Shirley; his son-in-law Kelly Thompson; and his grandchildren, Alanna Thompson and Kyle Thompson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Hampton - Woodley Funeral Home (306 Central Ave E, Hampton, IA 50441). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
