He is survived by: his nephew Michael Elling (Hillary) of Waterloo; his great-nephew Maxwell; his niece Michelle Fink (Alex) of Waterloo; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Zander and Xela; his sister-in-law Judy Elling of Waterloo; and his cousin Laura Weers of Mason City.
