He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Osteen and Jeannette Smith Osteen; and his sister Jocelyn Philipson. He is survived by: his wife Anne Holmes of Starkville; his children, Mame Moses (Tony) of Cape Girardeau, Jeanne Miller (Carl) of Barnes, Louise Gilchrist (Larry) of Hampton, Al Osteen (Jillian) of Madison and Karen Boyd (Mike) of Cedar Park; his sister Jeannine McGinnis of Cape Girardeau; and his sister-in-law Virginia Hendley of Columbia. He is also survived by six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
