She was predeceased by : her parents, John Martin and Helen Martin (Benson); her husband Irving Wiarda, Jr.; her friend Hank; her grandchildren, Bethany and Benjamin Hanson; and her half-sister Arlis Curtis.
She is survived by : her daughters, Laurene Arends (Bryan) and Lavonne Hines (Merle); her stepdaughters, Susie English (Glen), Lori Wiarda (Robin) and Cynthia Betts (Lyndsay); her brothers-in-law, Merlyn Wiarda (Collette) and Marlin Wiarda; and her great grandchild Haylee Hanson. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren.
