He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Nuehring and Estella Nuehring (Palmer); his wife Joanne (Young); his brother Gerald Nuehring; his stepchildren, Michael Stickney, Patti Crider (Stickeny), Sandra Jo Boyd (Stickney), Gerald Duane Stickney and Lisa Kay Tumilson (Stickney); his great grandchild Sgt. James Matthew Crider; and his stepbrother John Howell (Karen Ingham).
He is survived by: his brother Richard Nuehring; his sister-in-law Diane Nuehring; his nephews, Tim Nuehring, Doug Nuehring, Mark Nuehring and Patrick Nuehring (Jill); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Carter Nuehring (Madison) and Grant Nuehring; his nephew Michael Nuehring (Trish); his great-nephew Josh Hagin; his great-niece Jessica Teaney (Breyer); his son-in-law Kevin Tumilson; his grandchildren, Andy Boyd (Sara), Cody Boyd, Levi LaRue, Tyler Tumilson, Nicole Tomlinson, James Crider, Jr. (Fawna) and Troy Crider (Cynthia); his great grandchildren, Eric and Penny; his granddaughter Karen; and his great grandchildren, Joe Ingham, Mary Ingham and Katy Showalter.
