She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Johnson and Dorothy Johnson (Yennie); and her son Nicholas Hert. She is survived by: her husband Edward Hert Sr.; her children, Edward Hert Jr. (Michelle) of Evansdale, Jessica Lin (Zixian Francis) of Brooklyn and Alexander Hert of Hampton; her grandchildren, Emma Hert of Evansdale, Zade Hert of Evansdale, Edward Hert III of Evansdale and Emersyn Hert of Evansdale; and her brother David Johnson of Cedar Falls.
