He was predeceased by: his mother Helen Christensen Woltjer; his siblings, Susan and Gordy Woltjer; his in-laws, Glen "Pug" Simpson, Joyce and George Heitland; his grandson Ely Hawley; and his brothers-in-law, David Simpson, Chuck Newhnower, Spurgeon, Steve Bonjour and Jerry Hovenga.
He is survived by: his father Fredrick Woltjer; his wife Robin Simpson Woltjer; his children, Christpher Woltjer (Glenn) of Hampton, Crystal Rehm (Jim Furns) of Iowa Falls and Victoria Hawley (Zach) of Hampton; his granddaughters, Brealyn, Brooklyn Hawley and Kennedy Klein (Truman); his great grandchild Emery Klein; and his siblings, Penny Newhomer, Jean Hovenga, Gwen Spurgeon, Esther Lang (Gavin), Cheryl Bonjour, Audrey Sharp (Dale), Dick Woltjer, Dean Woltjer and Wayne Woltjer. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
