She was predeceased by: her parents, James H. "Jim" Furness and Neva Furness (Orr); and her brother Gerald. She is survived by: her sons, Todd (Cheryl) and Chad (Nancy); her granddaughter Anika; her siblings, Cindy Hohenfield (Jeff Koch) and Steven (Hannelore); and her sister-in-law Ruth Furness. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to Grace Lutheran Church Hanlontown or any Cancer Research Charity.
