She was predeceased by : her parents, Clinton "Happy" Perkins and Wilma Perkins (Thompson) of Northwood, IA.; her husband Jerred Ruble; and her brothers-in-law, Lloyd Tinkey, Richard Vaught, Randy and Craig Ruble.

She is survived by : her former life partner Paul Brunsvold of Hanlontown, IA; her friends, Colin Hall, Kenneth Sellers, Scott Evans and Nicholas "Nick" Swanz; her sisters, Carol Tinkey, Doreen Dorenkamp (Duane) of Mason City, IA, Nancy Vaught and Barb Eppens (Dale) of Mason City; her stepsons, Tim Ruble of Dallas, TX and Nathan Ruble of Bismarck, ND; and her brothers-in-law, Steve Ruble (Cindy) and Dan Ruble (Bonnie). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Beaver Creek Lutheran Church at Heritage Park in Forest City, IA, Grace Lutheran Church in Hanlontown, IA or Deer Creek Lutheran Church rural Carpenter, IA.
