He was predeceased by: his parents, John McLaughlin and Margaret McLaughlin (Gessert); his wife Kristine Andersen; his siblings, Bob McLaughlin, Red McLaughlin, Ray McLaughlin, Virginia Anderson, Maxine Cunningham, Sharon Sorrells and Francis McLaughlin; and his siblings-in-law, Cathy McLaughlin, Mick Anderson and Bill Cunningham.
He is survived by: his children, Ed McLaughlin (Amy) of Bellevue, NE, Wade McLaughlin (Ronda) of Oakland, IA, Angie Ferdinand (Kenny) of Fremont, NE and Jennifer Ferdinand (Chris) of Fremont, NE; his siblings, Arlene Andersen (Ed) of Rochester, MN, Marge Crow (Wade) of Omaha, NE and Joe McLaughlin (Mary) of Deerton, MI; and his siblings-in-law, Jan McLaughlin of Omaha, NE and Norm Sorrells of Walnut, IA. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
