He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew "Bruce" Whannell and Mildred Whannell (Buck). He is survived by: his wife Mary Kae Whannell of Harlan; and his sister Rhonda (John Mock) of Harlan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; extended family members; and many dear friends.
