She was predeceased by: her parents, America and Portsmouth; her husband Harley Kruse; her sons, Paul Kruse and Cliff Kruse; her daughter-in-law Karen Ewoldt Kruse; and her siblings, Agatha Hinkle (Leonard "Shorty"), Mary Ann Ede (Vern), Michael, James, Carol, Bernard (Thelma), Edwin (Margaret Ann), Ambrose (Ginger), Frank (Mary Ann), Leo, Clara Smith (Norman) and George Pfeifer.
She is survived by: her daughter Karen (Mick) of Centennial, CO; her daughter-in-law Virginia (Paul) of Winterset, IA; her sons, Jim (Shelly) of Waverly, IA, Gene (Lynne) of Portage, MI and Jon (Ann) of Draper, UT; and her sisters-in-law, Marge Pfeifer of LaVista, NE, Jean Pfeifer of Spalding, NE and Corrine Kruse (Mylan) of Cedar Bluffs, NE. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and their spouses; 48 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
