He was predeceased by: his parents, William Campbell Sr. and Ethel Campbell; his wife MaryBeth Campbell; his son Kasey Campbell; his granddaughter Lexi Budzon; and his great grandchild Frankie Schechinger.

He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Budzon (Tim) of Colorado Springs, CO, Kelly Tate (Larry) of Gulf Breeze, FL, Kristy Campbell of Pooler, GA and Kevin Campbell (Kathy) of Harlan, IA.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Michael's Catholic Church (2001 College Pl, Harlan, IA 51537). A rosary was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Harlan Cemetery (911 12th St, Harlan, IA 51537).
