With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marian Hibma of Harris, Iowa, born in Worthington, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 18, 2025 at the age of 82. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Balster and Inez Balster (Bruns); her in-laws, Pierce and Charlotte Hibma; her siblings, Vivian Balster, Jim and Dale Balster; and her siblings-in-law, Bob Hibma, Wes Peters, Harold Ernst, Paul Hibma, Barbara Peters and Suzanne Hibma.
She is survived by: her husband Joe Hibma; her children, Joy Pritchard (Jeremy), Nathan Hibma (Sarah), Julie Stanzel (Patrick) and Nick Hibma (Dondi); her grandchildren, Charlotte, Anna, Noah, Esmé, Dietrich, Casper and Macrina; her sisters, Jane Eldal (Marc) and Carol Bell (Vern); and her siblings-in-law, Marcia Balster, Laurel Hibma, Mim Ernst, Lois Hasselblad (Wayne), Miriam Hibma, Judy Dykstra (Lowell), Dan Hibma (Bonnie), Jerry Hibma (Nancy) and Steve Hibma (Lori).
