Marlys left this world on February 3, 2026 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Mally and Inez Mally (Howard); and her brothers, Dr. Arthur Mally and Robert Eugene Mally. She is survived by: her friends, Samantha Sarac, Carissa Harvey, Adam Miller, Michael Scherlin, Emrullah Sarac, Trevor Scherlin, Esa Muttilainen, Justin Harvey and IowaArrangements; her children, Linda Miller (Esa Muttilainen) of Newton, John (Jenifer Scherlin) of Casper and Lori McDonald of Jamestown, California; and her brother Bill Mally (Judy). She is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
