She was predeceased by: her grandson Mark; her husband James Jacobs; her parents, Robert A. Irvin and Edna Irvin; her son Mark Jacobs; her son-in-law Mark Hoines; her granddaughter Elise Eilts; and her siblings, Lois Williams, Leonard Irvin, Dorothy Meyers, Helen Irvin, Velma Shepherd, Annalea Gilbert and James Irvin.
She is survived by: her daughters, Machelle Hoines of Yankton, Tamela Eilts (Paul) of Ireton and Deborah Jacobs (Nick Smith) of Washington, DC; her grandchildren, Joshua Bye (Colleen), Anna Gibler (Leif), Elizabeth Anderson (Nate), William Eilts and Ellis Eilts; her great grandchildren, Olivia, Madeline Bye, Leo, Coen and Peyton Anderson; and her sister-in-law June Irvin. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Porter Funeral Home - Hawarden (712 10th St, Hawarden, IA 51023). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
