He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Utesch and Loretta Utesch (Smythe); and his brothers, Marlo and Jim Utesch. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Mary Kontz; his children, Peggy Utesch (Chris Stone), Brenda Lawrence (Rick) of Alcester and Steve (Melissa Utesch); his grandchildren, Carol Boatman (Dustin) of Sioux City, Nick Utesch (Sean Cotter) of New York City, Bryan Utesch (Colleen) of Chicago, Tanya Rees (Dan) of Monument, Sarah Bird (Brent) of Omaha and Tanner Utesch (Alissa) of Worthington, Minnesota; his great grandchildren, Addison, Bryton Boatman, Josie, Brecken Utesch, Emma, Evan Rees, Oliver, Xavier, Fulton and Isabelle Utesch; and his sister-in-law Marion Utesch. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
