It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce F. Potter in Hawkeye, Iowa, born in Geneva, Iowa, who passed away on May 6, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter E. Bergmann and Gladys B. Muhlenbruck; her husband Richard C. Potter; her sister Lucille Hiller; her brother-in-law Jim Bots; her grandson Kroy Urban; her brother Rolland Bergmann; and her siblings-in-law, Dan, Lois Potter and Don Vondra.

She is survived by : her children, David Potter (Diana) of Monterey, CA, Scott Potter (Jenny) of New Haven, MO, Laurie Urban (Matt) of Dubuque, IA and Randy Potter (Anne) of Dyersville, IA; her granddaughter Chelsea Jakob (Bill); her children, Justin Potter, Jessica Krapfl (Marty), Elizabeth Boyette (Dustin), Sam Urban (Kenzie), Amanda Adams (Justin), Tim Potter and Sarah O'Dell; her great grandchildren, Bethany, Mike, Dan, Hannah Rankin, Leah Boyette, Katie, Tucker Urban, Daisy Adams, Bill Jr. Jakob (Emily) and Johnathon Jakob; her sister Maxine Bots; and her siblings-in-law, Ed Hiller and Norma Vondra.
