She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo P. Brecht and Veronica Brecht (Ungs); her husband Gary A. Ross; her sister Phyllis; her brother-in-law John Hoerner; her parents-in-law, Andrew N. and Marvel G. Ross; her brother Duane "Pete"; her sister-in-law Lois Ross; and her nephew Kevin Ross.
She is survived by: her children, Mark (Susie) of Waukee, Paul Ross (Julie) of Holy Cross, John (Karen) of Dyersville and Ann Wimmer (Dieter) of Burnsville, Minnesota; her granddaughter Samantha Shindelar (Michael); her great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Henry and William of Clive, Iowa; her granddaughter Valerie Peters (Brian); and her great grandchildren, Emma, Claire, Molly of Urbandale, Iowa, Gary Ross, Ian Ross (Annie), Palmer, Knox, Leo, Baby of Tiffin, Iowa, Melissa Nothdorf, Cayden, Eloise of Cascade, Iowa, Angela Chrystal (Ryan), Ari, Oren of Altoona, Iowa and Allison Ross of Ankeny, Iowa.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, dear cousins, and countless good friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Beyond Bobby foundation.
