She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Frances Potter (Ledesma) and Delbert Potter Sr. (Linda) of Oelwein; her husband Steve Deaner of Hazleton; her son Adam Deaner (Olivia) of Hazleton; her siblings, Lisa Potter of Oelwein, Delbert Potter Jr. (Deb) of Hazleton, Jack Potter (Denise) of Oelwein and Joseph Potter of Oelwein; her stepsiblings, Teresa Pfister (Loren Staake), Brenda Potter, Jodi Potter, Tony Tafolla (Monique), Terry Tafolla, Tammy Tafolla, Tracy Tafolla (Jami) and Travis Tafolla (Heidi); her brothers-in-law, Francisco Lopez, Mike Deaner (Katy) and Brian Deaner (Nancy); her stepfather Daryl Potter; her stepsister Deanna Lopez; and her parents-in-law, James and Marilyn Deaner.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Geilenfeld-Buehner Funeral Home (309 1st Ave NE, Oelwein, IA 50662). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (628 S Frederick Ave, Oelwein, IA 50662).
Memorials may be directed to the family for a later designation.
