In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Jeanette had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Jeanette may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Giuseppe Joseph Battista and Vita Domenica Montrone Battista; her husband Harmon Cervone; and her siblings, Daniel Battista, William Battista, Anthony Battista and Rose Battista Garitta.
She is survived by: her children, Michael A. Cervone (Ann Marie) of Pearl River, NY, David J. Cervone (Nicole) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Elizabeth A. Cervone of Poughkeepsie, NY.. She is also survived by four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Church (775 Main St, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Dutchess County SPCA or Hudson Valley Hospice.
