He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Sylvester, Blanche McGarvey (Hudson), Elwin and Helen Karas (Anita). He is survived by: his mother Paula Ladage (McGarvey); his stepfather Ken Ladage of Marion; his father Rex Karas of Mt. Vernon; his son Jonathan Kortenkamp of Anoka, MN.; and his siblings, Heather Allen (Doug), K. David Ladage (LeAnne), Mark Ladage (Bonnie) and Brandy Ladage. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Services (3855 Katz Dr, Marion, IA 52302). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
