He was predeceased by : his parents, Roy Barker and Mary Barker (Martin); his wife Margaret Barker (Hayden); his brothers, Ray and Dale; his half-siblings Fred; his son J. B.; his grandson Larry Barker, Jr.; and his daughter-in-law Ida Barker.
He is survived by : his children, Larry Barker (Vicky) and Gloria Clinton; his grandson Jamie Turpin; and his sisters, Ruth Storts and Ava Swafford. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Buffalo United Methodist Church or to the El Kahir Shrine, 905 Tower Terrace Road, Hiawatha, Iowa 52233.
