With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Judith Wolfe of Hiawatha, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 6, 2026 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Leonard and Marcella Rose McDermott (Irwin); her grandchild Rowan Dolezal; and her brother Edward McDermott. She is survived by: her husband Jim of Hiawatha; her children, Matthew Wolfe (Amber) of Overland Park, KS and Emily Dolezal of Mesa, AZ; her grandchildren, Taylor, Hayden Wolfe, Reece, Rilynn, Ryken and Ramsey Dolezal; her siblings, Jack McDermott (Becky) of Maquoketa, Sue Kalb (Tony) of Dubuque and Dick McDermott (Jennifer) of Channahon, IL; and her close friends, Chris and Gina Williams. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed to Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, UIHC Stead Family Children's Hospital, club foot clinic, St. Pius X Catholic Church, or the charity of the donor's choice.
