He was predeceased by: his parents-in-law, Gordon and Dorothy Smith; his brother Don; his siblings-in-law, Sandy, Shelley, Linda and Darwin; and his parents, Lloyd Dodd and Elvera Dodd (Johansen).
He is survived by: his wife Doreen Smith of Hiawatha; his sons, Todd Dodd (Keri) of Marion and Jason Dodd (Molly) of Hiawatha; his grandchildren, Kaylea, Olivia Dodd of Marion, Everett and Loretta Dodd of Hiawatha; and his brother Dale Dodd of Hampton.
Instead of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for an established memorial fund or to plant a tree in a Derecho-affected area in Ken's memory.
