Ruth A. Shannon Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth A. Shannon of Hiawatha, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 30, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Williams and Jean Williams (Kell); and her sister Mary Fair. She is survived by: her husband Larry Shannon of Hiawatha; her children, John Shannon of Hiawatha and Jackie Wagner (Jamie) of Cedar Rapids; her grandchildren, Samantha Shannon of Cedar Rapids, Jacob Shannon of Oceanside, Brianna Luck (Brock) of Aplington and Brandon Wagner (Nicole) of Van Horne, Iowa; her great grandchildren, Brody Wagner, Frankie Wagner, Bronson Luck and Brixton Luck; her sister Kay Williams of Dumfries, Virginia; and her niece Bobbi Goodman of Baxter Springs, Kansas..
