With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bob Mahlberg in Hinton, Iowa, born in Denison, Iowa, who passed away on November 24, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmar Mahlberg and Pearl Mahlberg (Pedersen); and his wife Sharon Gosch. He is survived by: his children, Josie Cliffe (Josh) of Ellsworth and Anthony Mahlberg (Jodi Henderson) of Ute, Iowa; his granddaughter Amaiah Mahlberg; and his siblings, Paul Mahlberg of Georgia, Pat Wessel of Ute, Donna McCracken of Mapleton, Dave Mahlberg of Dunlap, Judy Blume (Rick) of Ute, Ray Mahlberg of Texas, Barb Jensen (Warren) of Soldier and Rod Mahlberg (Jodi) of Lincoln, Nebraska. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Soldier Lutheran Church (223 Lark St, Soldier, IA 51572). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
