She was predeceased by: her fathers, Lester Melton and Louie Audrey Melton (Beardshaw); her husband Henry; her daughter Vickie Dolde (Otto); her siblings, Robert A. Melton, William A. Melton and Audrey Sleezer; her siblings-in-law, Eddie Witt, Francis Fell, John Sleezer, Verna Melton, Iona Fell, Lorna Witt, Frances Melton and Alice Heitmann; her son-in-law William Banwart; and her nephews, Mike Sleezer and Jerry Lee Sleezer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Hartley (Robert) of Adel, IA and Julie Wienert (George) of Beaumont, TX; her grandchildren, Bart Banwart (Leslie), Amy Long (Andrew), Ross Wienert, Ashley Warren, Jessica Mazzella (Michael), Jason Dolde (Jamy) and Jodi Dolde; and her great grandchildren, Jackson Banwart (Madison), Lincoln Banwart, Carter Banwart, Tyler Banwart, Landry Long, Jalen Long, Henry Wienert, Zoe Warren, Kyah Warren, Wade Warren, Geovani Mazzella, Naomi Mazzella and Bella Fischer.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Holstein United Methodist Church (208 S Kiel St, Holstein, IA 51025). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a memorial donation to the United Methodist Church of Holstein or to the American Legion Dessel-Schmidt Post #225 of Holstein.
