He was predeceased by: his parents, Mathew Heiderscheit and Frances Heiderscheit (Pfeiler); his brothers, Allan and George Heiderscheit; his siblings-in-law, Richard Berning, Rose and Edel Heiderscheit; and his nephew Alex Heiderscheit.
He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Berning of Sinsinawa, WI, Clarence Heiderscheit of Dyersville, IA, Dorothy Heiderscheit, Leon Heiderscheit (Sandy) of Holy Cross, IA, Charles Heiderscheit (Sara) of Osage, IA, Jeanne Schmidt (Gary) of Marion, IA and Joan Althaus (Kevin) of Dubuque, IA; and his sister-in-law Marlene Heiderscheit of Dubuque, IA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Morris Funeral Home (5754 Maple Rd, Holy Cross, IA 52053). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (835 Church St, Holy Cross, IA 52053).
