She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Hanke and Freda Hanke (Saak); her husband Melvin Roy Hopp; and her siblings-in-law, Gilbert, Willard Hopp and Ann Hopp.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Hopp (Carol) of West Amana, Terry Hegewald (Steve) of Keota, Kim Brockmann (Chuck) of Long Grove, Gregg Hopp of Victor and Derek Hopp of Williamsburg; her grandchildren, Nathan Hopp (Lindsay), Crystal Hopp, Brittany Vaughn (TJ), Matthew Petz (Becky) and Avery Hopp; and her sister-in-law Alma Hopp of Marshalltown. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
