He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Glen D. Hardin and Esther Hardin (Klaren); his wife Deborah Huber; his grandchildren, Madison (Nathan), Connor (Kaci), Lydia Franzenburg (Jeremy) of Monticello, Khloe (Trevor), Brogan Hardin, Izabella Heffernan, Lylah, Max Billmeyer, Tillie, Haddie and Everett Davis; his great grandchildren, Lena Hinrichs and Collins Franzenburg; his brothers, Glen Hardin Jr. and Robert Hardin of San Diego, California.; his in-laws, Geraldine and Patrick Huber; and his siblings, John Hardin (Jack), Debra Hardin and Richard Hardin. He was also cherished by his children, grandchildren, and most recently Great Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Luke Catholic Church (206 SE 1st St, Hopkinton, IA 52237). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
