She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Schwinger and Vera Mae Schwinger (Dillon); her husband Poody; her brother Wallace Jr.; and her foster son Bob Carel.
She is survived by: her sons, Stephen (Diane) of Webster City, Michael (Brenda) of Hubbard, Craig (Linda) of Ames and Larry (Lynn) of Hubbard; and her sister-in-law Nancy Doering. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, two step grandchildren, four step great grandchildren and one step great great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church (116 S Iowa St, Hubbard, IA 50122). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
