She was predeceased by: her parents, Deo Jones and Bernita Jones (Mulford); her son Christopher Rex Beard; and her siblings, Marlys Kruckenburg, Pete Jones, Jim Jones, Marlin "Joe" Jones, Pauline Nalan and Helen Hetzel.
She is survived by: her sons, Marlin Beard (Liz) of Zearing and Scott Beard of Cedar Falls; her grandchildren, Hunter Beard of Zearing, Wayne Beard, Navy, Trenton Beard of Zearing, Gabriel Felix of Clive and Katelyn Felix of Waterloo; her great grandchildren, James Felix, Eli Streich and Benjamin Streich; and her sister-in-law Bev Jones of Hampton. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, other, relatives and friends.
